Balkanu has supported the Peninsula Road Development on Cape York providing exclusive resources in Aboriginal cultural heritage consultation for the protection of Aboriginal cultural heritage. Our services cover field surveys, site monitoring and conducting Indigenous cultural induction workshops. Balkanu facilitate the engagement of cultural heritage specialists, manage the logistics, undertake administration of budgets, deliverables and reports under scope of work defined.
This service offering of Aboriginal Cultural Heritage management to minimise harm to Aboriginal cultural heritage and Balkanu’s provision of expert advice in for Cultural Heritage clearance is available to all organisations such as those in construction, mining, quarry activities.
