Susan Medway
project managed the Norman Baird project and conducted
a large part of the research as well. Susan’s background is in geography and planning for developing
communities.
She has spent most of her life in
Northern Australia working on natural resource management
and planning projects. Susan enjoys working on community
projects and has broad experience working with Aboriginal
groups.
Susan grew up with a strong Anzac
tradition. Her maternal grandfather fought on the
Western Front during World War I and two of her uncles
served during World War II, one in Darwin, the other
in Borneo.
Susan and her family regularly
travel throughout the Australian outback pursuing
their interests in local history and wildlife.
