Cape York Institute (CYI) is a public policy organisation that champions reform and innovation in indigenous and social welfare policies. CYI has three mutually supporting elements: a Think Tank, a Policy and Research Program and a Youth and Leadership Program.
Cape
York Partnerships Projects (CYPP) is a community development organisation trialling innovative education and welfare reform projects. CYPP aims to restore social norms through the transition from passive welfare to active participation in a real economy.
Apunipima
Cape York Health Council (Apunipima) is a community controlled preventative health care agency focusing on advocacy and coordination of services at a community level. Key strategies include the Well Person’s Health Check and the River of Life.
Cape
York Land Council (CYLC) is the recognised Native Title Representative Body for the Cape York Peninsula area. CYLC provides legal advice, advocacy and representation to Cape York Aboriginal people in order to regain their rights to land and sea.
